The Event!
In the first week of January I hosted my very first Fab Grad Vision Board Party! First of all, WOW! I can’t believe I’m even blogging about my own Fab Grad event! A small idea to have a few girlfriends over for vision boarding and wine turned into a full on party (but that doesn’t surprise me at all!). Hosting a vision board party was the best way to kick off 2018 and words can’t describe how AMAZING it was to bring all my friends together in a fun and creative way!
In true Fab Grad style, I wanted the ambiance of my party to feel upbeat and welcoming, so the moment the girls walked in they were greeted with smiles, food, music, and of course…a mimosa!
The Mimosa Bar!
The one thing I knew I HAD to have at my party was a Bottomless Mimosa Bar! My friends and I love to brunch so having mimosa’s was a must for me and them! My mom and I (KeryBStyle) decided to make it our own little project and it was SO much fun! Almost everything came from the Dollar Store and was super easy to put together! The Vision!
The best part about the vision board party was seeing my friends bring their visions to life. We started off with a reflective activity that helped us envision our goals, priorities, and dreams for the new year! Then from there it was crafts and arts time as we spent hours laughing, singing, dancing, and oh yea…vision boarding!! The feedback I got from the party was overwhelming sweet and positive. After we all finished making our vision boards, we sat down and shared our boards with the group. Although it felt a little scary sharing our dreams with others, it ended up being the most heart-warming part of the entire party! The amount of ambition, passion, and straight girl boss in the room was so great! Sensitive me even shed a few tears as I expressed my gratitude and appreciation for all my friends who came and supported my event!
Overall, the First Annual Fab Grad Vision Board Party was a HUGE success and I couldn’t be any happier about how it all came together!
